Neem Oil Benefits – Skin Condition Relief, Immune System Booster & More
Every summer I sell a ton of neem candles and neem torches. They are essential for picnics and barbeques since their scent rids the area of mosquitoes. Applied topically you’ll guarantee yourself no bites from mosquitoes or ticks. In fact, rub it into your pet’s fur too. That’s why you’ll find it as an ingredient in natural bug lotions and bug sprays. It even will rid you of head lice. But, neem oil has so much more to offer.
Neem has been used medicinally for centuries. Historically, the twig from the branch of a neem tree was used by people in India as a toothbrush because they knew the benefits of neem on gum health. Today you can find neem in natural toothpastes for the same reason. Neem helps prevent and treat periodontal disease.
Skin conditions such as psoriasis, scalp conditions, athlete’s foot, rashes, even wrinkles, can be treated with neem oil. I wish you could hear the feedback I get from some of my customers who have used neem oil for these very reasons.
If you are familiar with Tea Tree Oil you will see the similarities with neem oil. The difference is neem oil is not as harsh. If you love the benefits of tea tree oil but find it can be irritating, switch to neem oil.
Neem capsules are on my shelves too. Internally neem helps to boost your immune system and works as a natural antibiotic. It fights viruses, bacteria, parasites, fever and inflammation.
