I have a winning combination for you: Vitamin C, Bromelain, and Quercetin.
Allergy products at your health food store will have a combination of these. Why? Because they are synergistic partners. They will give you optimal benefits when taken together.
Vitamin C works as a natural antihistamine. Some people take this by itself for allergy relief because it fights inflammation due to allergens and they find that they don’t need anything else. Bromelain (an enzyme from pineapple) is also very effective at reducing inflammation, but, another key factor of vitamin C and bromelain is that they enhance the effectiveness of Quercetin.
Quercetin (a bioflavonoid) is a strong immune builder against allergens so your reaction to allergens is greatly reduced when taking this supplement. Customers start taking quercetin around the middle of February. They have no symptoms at this time but they want to start building up a resistance to spring allergies. Again, some customers will rely solely on quercetin to do the job for them but, I still suggest they take vitamin C and bromelain with it because by doing so your body can more easily absorb quercetin and the effects of quercetin are greatly enhanced. Quercetin, being a bioflavaniod, enhances the absorption of vitamin C. Vitamin C should always be taken with a bioflavonoid for this reason.
So, get the most for your money and take Vitamin C, Bromelain and Quercetin together. You’ll be glad you did and so will the people around you.
