Natural Cure for Urinary Tract Infections
Are you one of the many women who suffer with reoccurring urinary tract infections (UTIs)? Or, maybe you just get an occasional one to suffer through?
There is relief! It is found in that little berry we all eat at Thanksgiving; the cranberry.
I explain to customers that cranberry coats the urinary tract so no bacteria can adhere to the lining. My daughter drinks cranberry juice cocktail all the time. I think it is the only thing she drinks, and although she never gets UTIs, I don’t recommend this for preventing UTIs because of all the sugar that is in the juice. Sugar is usually the root of everything bad that happens to your body. Try to stay away from it as much as possible. (Refer to my Stevia article.)
So, if you want to prevent a UTI you can take a cranberry supplement in capsule form on a daily basis. It also helps when a UTI is present because it’s antibacterial with healing properties that can ripe out E. coli and other UTI bacteria. There are no bad side effects when taking cranberry daily and no contra-indications if using it along with other drugs, but there are definitely some good side effects.
Cranberry is rich in vitamin C and other potent antioxidants and free radical scavengers. It also has ellagic acid as a component which is known for its anticancer properties. Cranberry is a win win situation.
If you are at the point where you think only a doctor’s prescription will help relieve you of the pain and burning, I would like to tell you about a product from Vibrant Health called U.T. Vibrance. Every bottle of either the powder or tablets is a two day supply. This is all you are going to need to get rid of your UTI. Vibrant Health guarantees it. Customers come back to tell me how well it works after I recommend it to them (sometimes in utter disbelief). It has several ingredients in it, cranberry being one of them. But, the first ingredient is D-mannose. D-mannose is a sugar that the E-coli bacteria loves to feed off of and when it is present in the bladder the E-coli will detach itself from the bladder lining and attach itself to the D-mannose where it will then come out in your urine. Remember to drink a lot of water in these two days. The D-mannose is not like refined sugar. It is not metabolized in the human body and so can pass through the kidneys and end up in the bladder. The other botanicals in UT Vibrance give nutritional support to the urinary tract.
Let me know what you think about my recommendations. I would love to hear back from you.
